Candlelight snowshoe and ski
The next big event in the park, our annual Candlelight Snowshoe, is coming up December 27. The start will be at the Aurora Club, 101 Penokee Rd. next to the park. There will be all kinds of fun stuff, including cookies and refreshments, at the Aurora Club. We will have some snowshoes available for use. Please mark your calendars and bring your friends and family for a fun evening! The event will take place from 5:30 to 8pm. The Sisu Ski Fest is an annual cross country ski event every January. The Board of the event has been a partner of Miners Park since the beginning of both. The race starts at ABR in Ironwood and uses the park trails as part of the course on its way to the "Finnish Line" in downtown Ironwood. The park is closed to other users during this time period, and will be open again at 3 p.m. on that day.

Location: All Trails Open (as grooming and conditions allow) from ABR, Norrie Park, Erwin Heritage Park, Miners Memorial Heritage Park, to Bessemer

Fee: Trail passes required at ABR and other trails as appropriate
